This is a Ray Kurzweil site. Kurzweil is a prolific scientist and commonly considered to be one of the smartest men alive. In wikipedia it is noted that;
Kurzweil has been described as a “restless genius” by The Wall Street Journal and “the ultimate thinking machine” by Forbes. PBS included Kurzweil as one of 16 “revolutionaries who made America” along with other inventors of the past two centuries. Inc. magazine ranked him #8 among the “most fascinating” entrepreneurs in the United States and called him “Edison’s rightful heir”
Kurzweil is also a co-author of one of the books (Fantastic Voyage) that started me looking more seriously at diet and its effect on my health.
In my opinion, Kurzweil looks very heavily towards science and technology to solve our problems. I’m worried about this because this direction can dangerously take us away from nature. Even the tagline for the website worries me with the word accelerating (the opposite of Dont Rush !!). We think that we’re so smart and we can do things faster than is naturally possible. Being natural and in-tune with nature is a better goal for our wellbeing.
However, this website is very useful for tracking down information from time to time and I recommend it as a good resource.
Here’s a page that looks at a study that shows again that the subconscious brain is much more powerful than we realize;
